My story
My journey into programming started with a Technical Professional Course in Management and Programming of Informatics Systems. It gave me strong roots across a wide range of technologies — HTML, CSS, Python, C, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React — and a solid foundation to build on.
From there, I kept pushing forward on my own — exploring new technologies, building side projects, and constantly learning through hands-on experience. That drive took me well beyond the classroom, into React Native, Next.js, Node.js, and the broader world of modern full stack development.
Professionally, I started with an internship at valantic working with low-code platforms, then moved on to build websites and mobile apps at Fernando Rosado Pianos. At Xalantis I grew from Software Developer to Director of IT, leading technical teams and shipping React Native apps. After doing freelance work for various clients, I became a Founding Engineer at Topics Chat, where I'm architecting and building the platform from the ground up.
In 2024, I formalized my freelance practice into Lourenço Rosado, Unipessoal Lda. — a one-person development company focused on delivering high-quality web and mobile solutions for businesses of all sizes.
