I build mobile apps for CFL, Luxembourg's national railway, and take on selected client work through my own company, mostly React Native apps and Next.js platforms, owned end to end.
I started with a technical course in systems management and programming, which gave me a wide base in HTML, CSS, Python, C, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, and more usefully the habit of learning a new stack quickly.
From there I kept going on my own: side projects, new frameworks, and a lot of shipping. That took me well past the classroom into React Native, Next.js, Node.js, and modern full-stack work. I also went through Ironhack's cybersecurity program, which permanently changed how I think about handling user data.
Professionally, I began with an internship at valantic on low-code platforms, then built websites and mobile apps at Fernando Rosado Pianos. At Xalantis I moved from Software Developer to Director of IT, leading a team and shipping React Native applications. At Topics Chat I led mobile development on a cross platform messaging app, with React Native on the front and Hono on Cloudflare Workers behind it.
Today I'm a Senior React Native Developer at Devoteam, working on mobile products used by commuters across Luxembourg, and I run my own consultancy for clients who want one engineer accountable for the whole thing.
